Vanessa Muraskas reached base on a dropped third strike and then proceded all the way home on an overthrow scoring the only run for RFF's that inning.

Sarah Signor flashed some leather in center field preventing a hard smashed ball by Liana Allen from becoming a home run.

Messina Sasko exhibited excellent defense by making several stops at both pitcher and 1st base. Rylee Cornell had a great game on both sides of the ball with solid defense at multiple infield positions as well as hitting ball well at each at-bat. Lastly, Sarah Berls had a great game as well - she showed her concentration late in the game with a solid hit between 1st and 2nd base!

In a battle that went down to the final inning with RFF's ahead by 2, BCI loaded the bases with no outs. BCI scored two runs on infield hits tying the game. After striking out two Summer had the final batter with bases loaded and a full count. Knowing a walk ended the game, Summer reached back and fired a strike ending the game in a 9-9 tie. 6 different players scored for RFF's with stellar at bats by Ella Ouimet 2-2 and Vanessa Muraskas 2-2.
