WelcomeUpdated Sunday March 27, 2016 by Saratoga Miss Softball.
Saratoga Miss Softball League is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting all the positive aspects of amateur softball to our young athletes. Emphasis will be placed on the development of good, sound softball skills without sacrificing the enjoyment and fun of playing the game. Our goal is to ensure that softball is used as a tool to:
- Teach the children the fundamentals of softball
- Help the players build confidence and self-esteem
- Foster social interaction in a team setting
- Teach the responsibilities of being a good team player
Saratoga Miss Softball is run strictly by volunteers. Thanks to these volunteers, our children can play softball in a wonderful setting. Saratoga Miss Softball would like to thank the people and business owners in the town of Saratoga Springs and the surrounding areas for their support and endless time and effort.
What happens when it rains?
Email blasts will be sent out, as well as Facebook and Twitter posts. The rainout line will be updated by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, and before 8:00 a.m. on weekends once the Board has determined field status.
How do I find a team for my child?
Teams inquiries can be indicated during registration. Please let us know if you want to play for a specific coach or with kids from a specific neighborhood or school. We will do our best to accommodate requests.
Who is eligible to play for Saratoga Miss?
Saratoga Miss serves players ages 4-16 who live in Saratoga and surrounding areas.
Where are games played?
Rec games are played at the Geyser Road Fields. Please refer to the locations section on the homepage for Fall Ball and travel field locations.
Can my player play up or down a league?
We will make every effort to place players in the appropriate division. We occasionally have players play up if their skill level may cause a safety issue for the player within their age bracket. We rarely play players down but if the player does not have much experience and it poses a safety risk, we will certainly take that into consideration.
What does my child receive with registration?
Each player will receive a uniform (t-shirt, shorts, and socks);
What seasons are offered at Saratoga Miss?
